Read on nydailynews.com.

Nothing says I love you like a good meal. But in case you can’t cook like Mom — and let’s face it- no one can cook like Mom — it’s time to get her out of the kitchen and let the pampering begin. Sunday is Mother’s Day so get ready to make your reservations and show Mom you care with the real key to a woman’s heart-food!

From cookie decorating with the kids to upscale cruises around the Hudson, we’ve rounded up some places that are sure to make Mom feel appreciated.

Give her something sweet.

Chef David Santos has a special gift for Moms-a cake to take home in honor of his own mother, who is originally from Portugal. All Moms will receive a mini Lavender Bundt Cake, just like the ones he used to make as a boy with his mother. There will also be a three-course prix fixe menu (1-8 p.m., $55) with many of Santos’ signature dishes, including Octopus Bolognese, Uni with pork belly, House Made Tortellini, Skate Chop, and Suckling Pig.

Give her 100-year old recipes.

The Gallo family will make Mom feel at home with their homemade Italian classics, like Chicken Parm ($8), Meatball Sliders ($8), Baby Rice Balls($11), and Kale Salad ($14). Passed down from Chef and owner Steven Gallo’s own mother, his recipes trace back to his Sicilian roots from more than 100 years ago, including the famous Gallo tomato sauce-a family treasure that Gallo learned how to craft at the early age of 12 in his mother’s kitchen.

Give her a toast.

236 5th Ave., 212-683-2929

All Moms will receive a complimentary St-Germain Champagne cocktail and an herb plant to take home. An a la carte brunch menu will be served with specials like Hummus & Ramps ($15), Soft Shell Crab with harissa carrot purée and avocado semolina crust ($21), and Wild Spring Salmon ($32). Chef Philippe Massoud will also serve his special Apricot Almond Cake ($10) that honors how his mom encouraged him how to bake.

Give her two for the price of one.
